Brought my dad and younger brother out on our first charter ever, targeting king. Capn Jay and first mate B made it super easy, and light and the most fun we could have asked for on a sunny Saturday morning. Landed a big king, a small Atlantic, and 3 rainbow trout. All in all a great day with great people and damn good fishin folks! 10/10 WOULD recommend to a friend, and we’ll see you boys next year!! 🤘🏼🤘🏼

We had a great experience with Captain Jay and his “son” Brandon. They truly cared about ensuring we had a good time and caught some fish. They obviously know how to navigate the waters and find the fish. They were a lot of fun and we would highly recommend them for any level of fishermen!

My 16yo son and I had a fantastic time with Captain Jay and B the other night. My son fishes often so asked if we could land some big salmon, quality over quantity, and they delivered. They clearly knew the waters and where to go, other captains were calling them to find out where to land fish while we were out there. They were extremely determined to make sure we caught fish, and also educated us on the science behind it. They were great company to chat with, sharing stories of their adventures. I'd highly recommend them!

We had a fantastic trip with Taymo Charters. Captain Jay at the helm and B managing the action at the back of the boat made a great team, creating a fun, informative, and relaxed atmosphere. It’s clear they love what they do, and they made our family (husband, wife, and two older teens) feel comfortable and welcome throughout the trip. The only challenge was finding parking—worth keeping in mind if you’re booked for a weekend afternoon. Other than that, everything was excellent. We caught four fish, which B expertly cleaned and filleted for us before we headed in. Highly recommend Taymo Charters to anyone looking for a great day on the water.

We had a great time out on the water! The bite was slow, but definitely not for lack of effort from the crew. Brandon worked hard switching baits, while the Captain kept moving us to new spots and adjusting tactics to find the fish. Even with the fish being uncooperative, it was still a fantastic morning. We’ll definitely be back to try again—thanks for everything!

Jay and Brandon are outstanding guides with extensive knowledge of fishing dynamics on Lake Ontario. They attentively catered to our preferences for the overall experience, catch, and keep, providing exceptional service within the scheduled time. What an incredible adventure with Captain Jay and Little B! While the start was a bit unconventional with the wrestler incident, their expertise shone through as we embarked on the journey. Despite a slower morning, their mastery of the boat and gear selection led to unforgettable moments reeling in massive Salmon, leaving us with sore arms and beaming smiles. Having been on two charters prior, I can confidently say this was the ultimate experience. Jay and Little B's warmth and willingness to share their knowledge made the trip even more enjoyable. As we headed home, all we could discuss was when we could return (and how often) to join these amazing individuals. With plenty of laughs and freezer-full of memories, we'll definitely be back – once I regain feeling in my arm, that is!

We were warmly welcomed by the captain and had a fantastic first-time salmon fishing experience. Despite only catching one, the captain tirelessly searched for more, experimenting with different baits and locations. His willingness to share fishing tips and knowledge enriched our journey, leaving us with valuable lessons learned.
