My 2 kids, my wife and myself all caught King salmon. 6 great fish from 10-19 lbs. Jay and Jim know everything there is to know about salmon fishing. They're professional, personable and funny, all while giving you the best experience you could hope for. This is our second year in a row and next year is already pencilled in. I recommend this experience 100%.

I brought my 17 year old son with 2 of his friends out for this charter. Captain Jay and Jimmy were amazing and made this adventure memorable. I would highly recommend booking with Taymo Charters!!! I have a feeling this is going to become a yearly adventure.

Captain Jay was super chill guy. Very knowledgeable about the area and how to hunt for fish. Definitely different then salt water fishing, but Jay explained it all. Took home 2 kings and landed a fat lake trout. Definitely booking again!!

You won't want for anything more from this crew. Jay and Brandon have the knowledge, experience and expertise to make your trip as successful as possible. We were either catching fish or learning about them, the lake or the gear. It was non-stop immersion into the world of fishing. Book this now!

We had a fantastic trip with Taymo Charters. Captain Jay at the helm and B managing the action at the back of the boat made a great team, creating a fun, informative, and relaxed atmosphere. It’s clear they love what they do, and they made our family (husband, wife, and two older teens) feel comfortable and welcome throughout the trip. The only challenge was finding parking—worth keeping in mind if you’re booked for a weekend afternoon. Other than that, everything was excellent. We caught four fish, which B expertly cleaned and filleted for us before we headed in. Highly recommend Taymo Charters to anyone looking for a great day on the water.

Jay and Brandon are outstanding guides with extensive knowledge of fishing dynamics on Lake Ontario. They attentively catered to our preferences for the overall experience, catch, and keep, providing exceptional service within the scheduled time. Punctual and prepared, they ensured we had engaging conversations, laughter, and a fantastic time. The entire experience was seamless. What an incredible adventure with Captain Jay and Little B! While the start was a bit unconventional with the wrestler incident, their expertise shone through as we embarked on the journey. Despite a slower morning, their mastery of the boat and gear selection led to unforgettable moments reeling in massive Salmon, leaving us with sore arms and beaming smiles. Having been on two charters prior, I can confidently say this was the ultimate experience. Jay and Little B's warmth and willingness to share their knowledge made the trip even more enjoyable. As we headed home, all we could discuss was when we could return (and how often) to join these amazing individuals. With plenty of laughs and freezer-full of memories, we'll definitely be back – once I regain feeling in my arm, that is!

We were warmly welcomed by the captain and had a fantastic first-time salmon fishing experience. Despite only catching one, the captain tirelessly searched for more, experimenting with different baits and locations. His willingness to share fishing tips and knowledge enriched our journey, leaving us with valuable lessons learned.

For our son's 21st birthday, my wife and I treated him to a fishing charter with Taymo, and we couldn't have been more pleased with Captain Jay.
